About the Observatory

The Observatory for Human Rights is an independent research and advocacy initiative dedicated to documenting, analysing, and raising awareness on human rights issues worldwide.

Behind the Observatory stands a dedicated team of Volunteers, researchers, writers and advocates. Our commitment is rooted in the analysis of real cases, the monitoring of violations and the dissemination of clear, accessible information with the aim of contributing to a more just and inclusive world.

We believe that silence fuels injustice and that bringing violations to light is the first step toward change.

Our work gives visibility to situations and stories that are often hidden from public debate. We combine rigorous research with a deep human commitment: every report we publish is grounded in first-hand testimonies, authoritative sources, and official documents from institutional and international bodies. This methodology ensures that our voice remains credible, accurate, and unshakable.

Beyond monitoring and reporting, we act as a bridge between those whose rights are violated and the institutions that can bring justice, transforming awareness into concrete action.

Our Mission & Vision

Our mission is to protect and promote human rights through research, advocacy and education.

We work to:

  • Document human rights violations in a precise, transparent and accessible way.

  • Analyse the systemic causes of injustice to create effective and sustainable solutions.

  • Amplify voices that are often silenced or ignored.

  • Collaborate with NGOs, academic institutions, and international organisations to strengthen the global human rights framework.

We strive to be not only observers, but active participants in building a fairer and more inclusive world.

We envision a world where every person can live free from violence, discrimination, and oppression where human dignity is not negotiable and justice is a universal guarantee.

In this vision, information is a tool of empowerment, and the stories we tell serve as a catalyst for societal and political change. Our goal is to make sure that no human rights violation remains invisible, no matter how remote the place or how silenced the community.

Our Principles

Integrity

Upholding the highest ethical standards in everything we do. We act with honesty and consistency, even when no one is watching.

Accuracy

Relying solely on verified, credible, and transparent sources. We ensure that every fact we present can be trusted.

Independence

Operating without political, corporate, or partisan influence. Our decisions are guided solely by evidence and justice.

Human Dignity

Placing the respect for every individual at the centre of our mission. Every person's rights and worth are acknowledged and protected.

Transparency

Clearly communicating our methods, findings, and limitations. We make our work open and understandable for all stakeholders.

Empowerment

Providing tools, knowledge, and platforms to those directly affected by rights violations. We help communities turn awareness into action.

"Defending dignity, exposing injustice.
Because every human right matters."
